Am currently reading Crusade for Armageddon by Jonathan Green and I cannot put it down. It is a pretty decent read. Now, I'm not sure what timeline this book falls (as in in terms of being released) but can anyone recommend any other books similar to this? I like the writing style and it isn't nearly as heavy or superfluous as some of the Horus Heresy books seemed to be.

P.S. just now noticed in a book about Greenskins, the author's last name is Green.

Helsreach is a good book.

It follows the Black Templars Chaplain Grimaldus, as he leads the defence of Helsreach Hive on Armageddon during Ghazkhull's second invasion.

Awesome, I may have to get that. Apparently he also wrote a sequel, Conquest of Armageddon, but its surprisingly rare? I found it on eBay and Amazon for $18+, which is funny because a used bookstore had mine for $2.

Instead of Helsreach, get the combined Armageddon novel that includes both Helsreach and the novella follow up that covers what happened to the Celestial Lions.
