Hey guys my name is Joey and I'm just getting into warhammer I figure better late than never. I recently bought the box set that comes with the dark Angels and the chaos space marines which is the army I decided to go with. I wanted to get on this forum because it seemed 1 people are truly willing to help expand the game by helping rookies instead of crucifying them and 2 they love playing it and that's where I would like to be. Any and all help is appreciated I'm trying to put together my 1st army list so any thoughts on that would be awesome. Have a great day

Welcome to dakka, as stated above a warband is like a chaos space marine's version of a chapter. There are quiet a few to choose from too and you could make your own as well.

Oh ok I wanted to go with the khorne faction of it. They seem like they would be pretty crazy to play a game with. The buddy that got into it with me is running space marines so I naturally wanted to pound his guys into the floor and that's how I came up with going with khorne haha
