Although I've never joined in a Kickstarter, I'm feeling the non-buyer's regret over not pledging on the Ghostbuters boardgame. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with getting into one of these after the final bell has been struck, either through getting hold of another's pledge or just waiting till the game is available in print.

I suppose it's the exclusives that have been on my mind, which is why I bring this to the Dakkanauts. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Via Kickstarter, no.

Some companies/projects (like Raging Heroes or Kingdom Death) will allow people to hop in to their pledge manager even if you never pledged before. Look around.

Your best bet is to contact the company who ran the KS

(they may have a contact email address on the front page, or if not via the contact me link on the right, for ghostbusters boardgame try ghostbusters@cryptozoic.com)

as Absolutionist has said some companies will allow people in after the KS (eg CMON), some allow them in but charge a higher price (Reaper) and some won't take late pledges

all you can do is ask

I wouldn't hold my breath on getting in on the Ghostbusters kickstarter.

They were very strict, by not allowing anyone to add to their pledges after the ks ended. I was disappointed, as I wanted to add a bunch of items to my purchase. :(

I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks all! Orlando, I'll take your advice and shoot them an email, see if they have any offerings I can pick up. I'll let everyone know what I find out.
