Hey guys,
So this is a big shout out to any and all in the NYC area who play
40K, that we here at The Brooklyn Strategist will be starting up a
40k League on May 2nd.
Already got around 6 players interested and signing up for it, and this is a little call out to those who would be interested I. Joining us in this little sortie. He are the details
*1500pts: 1000pts of which is STATIC e.g. Does not change for the entire league, with 500pts allowed to be flexible between games. The other staff and I decided on this after discussing the ideal of it having to be a challenging competitive league, whilst allowing for a degree of flexibility between games in order to break up the monotony of the same list every week.
*No super heavy vehicles or gargantuan creatures.
*Formations and Allies allowed.
*Games every Saturday from 5pm until 11pm at the BStrat.
*Make up games allowed but must be on the BStrat premises so that results can be recorded.
*Mission and deployments are standard from the rulebook; no maelstrom missions.
*Cost is $35 for non-members and $25 for members for the whole league. This would wave entrance fees for every game that is league play, pay for dedicated board space on the Saturday evenings, and for glorious, glorious prize support!
*Starting May 2nd
I'm think the more people that sign up for this, the more people can get their monies worth for this league. The points you are allowed to have static and changeable between weeks allows for you guys to have some degree of flexibility without tailoring lists against every opponent; after all this is supposed to be competitive and has prizes involved so we have to make it relatively challenging.
What say you?! Any questions feel free to post below and/or
