Hey, unfortunately ive not managed to a single spring tournament, and im wondering, what lists are you seeing winning these events? and what do i have to look out for?

I'm off to one tomorrow. I know that 3/4 of us locally will be bringing double-aggressors, theres a couple of R3-A2 rebel stressbot builds doing the rounds,Keyan or Dash and YT 2 ship rebels, and several Decimator plus elite ships(normally soontir.).

Don't know what the travelling tournament circuit crowd will be bringing to the party, but it will probably wipe the floor with the lot of us so I'll try and let you know the builds after the fact.

Awesesome, we had a good mix at regionals in Scotland, No HWK, Bomber or Advanced.

Had a busy bank holiday weekend, and a pretty piss poor tournament showing on Saturday so completely forgot about this thread.

Saturday was a weird day. 26 players, all local, about half of which this was their first or second tournament. Dual aggressors made a heavy showing and did pretty poorly(5/26). There was about equal number of players fielding dual autoceptors, which was taking up most of the top tables.

Standout builds that made the top 8 were quad a-wings with calculation(still can't work out how I lost to that one.), and the 36 shades of brown list which is a little bit of a local specialty(Patrol Leader,Bountyhunter,Shuttle.) taken by 2 players in this tournament. The final game was between a turr/soontir/bounty hunter autoceptor list and a slightly odd fat han build(ptl,c3p0,luke,title,eu with 3 bandits). Fat Han won, all is lost, there will be no new autoceptor meta.
