Who plays this regularly? I still haven't been able to get someone to try it out, but I love this book! I may have a crush on Brent Spivey.

A few questions for those who do play:

- how many special rules on a unit is too many (i've been doing 1-2 for regular troops and up to 4 for elites)?
- how do you base your heroes and wizards and stuff?
- do you typically build for more models or better dice quality?
- are the shinier, more expensive spells worth it?

Sorry man, I just saw this.

I play all the time!

I use 1-2 special rules for my regular troops.

I play using orcs and chaos minis for mayhem. I have an orc berserker hero that's based as a heroic skirmisher and a slaanesh behemoth sorcerer. Most of my other heroes are based on round scenic bases.

My orc army is a mix of hordes and cheap goblin units with a few heavy hitters and maxed out heroes. I tend to build for higher leadership. The shinier spells are soooooo worth it.
Summon a troll behind your enemy and charge them or stop time with a chaos sorcerer and wade into combat.

Trolls are INCREDIBLY stupid. That's why you summon them BEHIND the enemy. "Here troll, got some cracker jacks for you..." They'll destroy anything in their way to get to the toy surprise! I made that up.

Fun stuff!

I added a pic of my orc hero on a mount and a unit of goblins with spears.... I love being able to use my warhammer figs for something fun!

The Image is not showing up... never said I was any good at this!

Fixed it! ORCS!
