2 persons per team, 1000 points per player 2000 points total per team

Entry fee is $15 per player ($30 per team), includes 2x drinks and chips + BBQ lunch on Sunday.

Registration closes end of business 20th of June

Event date: 27th + 28th June

Rounds: 6, random seeding + Swiss pairing

Prize breakdown: 1st, 2nd 3rd, lucky door. Flash trophies for podium placings! And the dreaded wooden spoon! :O

- Points are not transferrable between players.

- One fortification unit per team.

- All pairings are considered Allies of Convenience unless their relationship would be Battle Brothers.

- D-weapons remain unchanged.

- Invisibility psychic power amended to:
"Units wishing to fire at the affected unit do so at BS1. Models attempting to make attacks against the affected unit hit on a 5+."

- LoW are unrestricted.

- FW, and 30k are disallowed.

- Gargantuan creatures and Super Heavy vehicles are disallowed.

- A single army may contain no more than 2 detachments.

- An army may not be unbound (Battleforged only).

- An army may not duplicate a detachment.

- A Detachment may not be included in an army if it is Come the Apocalypse allies with another Detachment in the army.

- All miniatures must be assembled.

- All miniatures must be painted to 3 colour standard.

- No proxies without TO approval are permitted.

- All miniatures must be representative.

- If in doubt, submit a query to a TO for approval.

- If either player on a team is more than 15 minutes late for a game, this will result in a sportsmanship penalty.

- If either player on a team is more than 30 minutes late for a game, this will result in forfeiture of the game.

- Sportsmanship scores are done on a Thumbs up/Thumbs down basis. As a default all opponents will receive a Thumbs up rating. Normally the only reasons to give a Thumbs down rating are:
*If an opponent knowingly cheated
*Knowingly mis-represented a rule
or model
or a model's weapons and wargear
or contents in the case of a transport
*Was rude
*Was verbally abusive
*Attempted to use body language to intimidate
*Slow playing for advantage
*Was more than 15 minutes late for a game

- Sportsmanship scores do not contribute to Victory points, but more than 1 Thumbs down may result in disqualification and forfeiture of entry fee.

- Sportsmanship scores are NOT to be used to express your dislike of an opponent, their army, playstyle, polite debating of the rules etc...

- In the case of all rules or sportsmanship disputes, TO's decision is final.

Finally, and this is not an enforceable rule, but due to time restrictions, we ask as a courtesy to your opponents, organisers and for the sake of your own enjoyment, that you at least be conversant with the Core rules and your own Codex, including any supplements or WD articles you refer to as a rules reference. You are not expected to know every other codex in type, and if you wish to query a rule, your opponent is expected to be able to show you in print or via electronic copy the rule in question and the same is expected of you. Do not show up expecting people to lend you cards, codecies, the core rulebook, dice, tape measures or templates.

Over 60% of the player base at Ace has been playing 40k since 1st edition.

We're a friendly bunch and are starting up tournaments as we used to mainly travel away to play and thought why not start our own!

We religiously play at Ace every 2nd and last Saturday of the month on a more social level with little $5 dollars entry mini comps!

Not feeling up to something competitive?

That's cool just ask anyone from the store for something more social!

Hope to see you there!

Kind Regards,

Vaughan & the Ace Comics and Games staff!
