Few pics from the first mothers day battle, and our first points game! Had a few questions on Azog and hoping you guys could help. 1st question, Does Azog benefit from his white wargs might will and fate? Such as using his might for a heroic combat after all of Azogs might is gone? Also, Azog has the rule that he always wounds on a 3+, so if he takes the lance weapon as well, does that mean Azog wounds anything on a 2+? we played it that way, just making sure we were right. He is one scary opponent on the table, proving that by one shotting Gimli lol. Dont mind the white in the first picture, as per the boss, she doesn't want to be in the picture haha!

And don't mind my dwarfs, the rangers need more paint and I have to do all the bases, she just has more time then me to make it look good lol.

It was a very fun battle! My army

Warband 1
12 dwarves of Erebor - 6 shields, 6 spears led by Beorn.

Warband 2
12 dwarf rangers - 4 bow, 4 throwing axe, 4 regular led by Gimli.


Her army

Warband 1
6 orcs on felwargs with bows led by Azog on the white warg

Warband 2
6 hunter orcs and 6 felwargs (unmounted) led by Nazug I believe.


Azog is one scary villian, killing Gimli flat out in one combat! Beorn was able to take Azog out in 3 combats, but it was close. She made the mistake of putting bows on the cavalry which could never be fired. She killed a few dwarves with the calvary but Beorn rushed to their aid and took out 3 of them before slaying Azog! Very fun game, looking to play a 750 later this week.
