a few days ago I was looking at my pathfinders and noticed something. they have not nearly as much armor as normal Firewarriors. they have armor on their knees, and elbows, not to mention the big pad on their Shoulder. but Pathfinderes still have the same armor role.
so my thought was: why don't give them a 5+ plus armor, but make up for it through lets say, sprinting. you know, the extra D6 inches movement instead of shooting. what's the english term for that?

That would be the 'fleet' rule. And it would successfully make Pathfinders even more fragile while adding nothing to their utility, which is as the cheapest markerlight delivery system (though that ain't saying much)

If any rules are going to be changed, it's whether they need to take that damned Devilfish or not. I'd even settle for that with an up in points (15 points a guy for infiltrating, scout moving unit with a 4+ save and markerlights? Probably would make them overcosted, but not the 22 points 8 figures cost now when you factor in the 'fish).

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
