Hi All
So my group has just started playing Westwinds Empire of the Dead (EofD), everything makes sense, but we have some questions regarding the use of arcane powers, and so far, there appears to be no FAQ available.
Has anyone played this game yet, and are you able to give an explanation on some of the rules?

That should take you to their forums which are fan organised 'semi-official' so you might be able to find answers to questions there - it will likely be community answers rather than 'official', but Andy does sometimes pop up there.
Hope that helps.

I'm part of an ongoing campaign. We have about 10 games under the belts of each player.

Yeah, I tried to join their forum, but apparently my application needs to be approved...... waiting
What I wanted to understand, and it wasn't clear in the rules. There doesn't appear to be any restrictions on who from each faction can use arcane powers. Although it says that each character can only be affected once per round by any one power, there's also no obvious limitation to how many times a power can be employed by the group. So, for example, if I'm running a six man group, can I cast "Bless" six times in the action phase? Seems op, but there's nothing to say you can't.

Well, first off, only certain characters can cast spells - either because they started with them, or they were gained during the campaign.
Secondly, using an Arcane Power is an action. As the rules say (check pages 26 and 34) depending on what movement a model uses, they can then complete an action as well. So you can move your regular movement value and then perform a single action.
So the model with Bless could perform the Arcane Power once per turn.

Aha, OK. Seems strange that something like a Vampire Graf wouldn't come with arcane powers off the back. Maybe we'll just apply house rules.

Well, he is a close combat monster (at night) and has the Drain and The Eternal skills from the beginning, making him damn hard to kill. I should know, as the vampire wiped his way through my werewolves in one of the games I played. Luckily none of the models who went down were injured, and those who were killed were outright replaceable.
