I once got into 40k about a decade and a half ago but haven't played much at all. I am interested in collecting an IG army (although I'd prefer to use non-GW models, specifically the Eisenkern models). I have a couple of friends with which to play the game (though they collect GW models).

I'm from Hong Kong where GW has long since fled :(

Although to be fair, as an IG enthusiast (a decade and a half ago I had catachans because... that was pretty much the only option), I never had much fun in Hong Kong, mostly because I realise now that the store staff didn't know how to play!

I always seemed to be pitted against Landraiders and Spacemarine Terminators with my flashlight mob. About as effective as a rave party taking on brick walls, made of ceramite. And armed.

tl:dr -> Interested in getting back into 40k after a long break. Dislike the models currently available (had them before, crazy expensive after adding their freight charges). Want to collect, want to learn better painting techniques and the like!
