I'll be frank, I'm quite clueless as to wargaming but I was directed here regarding a recent find of mine and its possible identification.
I expect the thread to be moved if it's not in the appropriate section.

I found this awesome (and what I thought, wonderfully detailed) dragon and dragon rider figure. Sadly the base is missing but the metal pegs used are still attached.

I tried looking to identify the statue on my own but after a couple days, hadn't any luck. Here's hoping someone here may be able to help me out.

There is incredible detail in this figure IHMO. There is also a chain-link lead which is held by the rider that secures to the dragon's head horns. I had to rethread that but worth it.

Attachments request wargaming only, so will provide a link to my imgur account instead.

If it turns out to be but a toy, I'll still be happy to have found it. THANK YOU

Any chance of a better pic of the rider?

Also is the dragon made of metal or plastic overall?

I recognize the style as I have a couple of them. It's a McFarlane's Dragon.

Series 6 it seems. From that series I Have the Ice Dragon.

Not WarGaming related, just "Collectibles" for us Nerds that like to waste money on cool lookin' toys

That one seems to be from the "Warrior Clan".

Well then! I am not in the least saddened by this purchase. I also hoard more intact figures, busts, and two swords in a tower glass case so, I am very happy to add this piece to my collection. I just wasn't sure what wargaming was.
So this is excellent, thank you! Now to fix/find/build a new base for this beast.

Yeah, some of those dragons are gorgeous! In scale for wargaming, too...
