A friend of mine has just mailed me a large box of 90s
GW metal
IG from the USA to the
UK, and on the customs label she wrote, "Second hand metal miniatures. (No lead content)"
I'm just wondering if "no lead content" was necessary for moving minis in and out of Europe or into the USA?

It'd never occurred to me before.
Has anyone ever had a problem with such things?
Also it's highly irritating that I'm going to end up paying 20% customs on old figures that were likely bought from here to begin with, but neither of us had the legal/postal dexterity to know how to prevent that and protect the contents from loss.
