I have a mostly unopened army of Bretonnians and I was thinking of selling some of the stuff off to pay for the Age of Sigmar starter box. I think I'll keep the Knights, Questing Knights, Pegusus Knights and Grail Knights (I like the models which is why I bought them in the first place). I have a Grail Relique & Battle Pilgrims, Bowmen, Men-at-arms, Damsel, Green Knight, and The king on the griffin I was thinking of parting with. I also like the Stormcast Eternals. Just to be sure, can I field any of those knights with the Stormcast Eternals? Any restrictions? With all the questions on the size of the force that can be fielded, How many knights would be too many to go with the Stormcast Eternals?

Can't speak to the actual number, that's more up to your local group. Most people seem to be settling around 50-100 wounds as a kind of starter.

As for them being able to be fielded with Stormcast Eternals the answer is yes. There are actually zero restrictions now but I'd stay within my "Grand Alliance" when building an army.

Yeah, I'm not actually planning on buying anything other than the starter at this time and probably will only buy new models as they release them (would actually like to field a dwarf unit or two depending on what the new ones look like whenever GW gets around to it).

Are those 'no restrictions' also mean that I could field a force entirely made of units of grail knights if I wanted to? Or are there still restirctions on core, special, rare, etc?

No restriction period except for the restrictions you, and the people you play with, impose. So you could do all grail knights. I'm currently building a force of all Iron Breakers and Iron Drakes.
