You mentioned how you won on the first turn due to the sudden death rule. You picked the Blunt option, and it says there that the enemy player picks a unit to be the target of the ability. I guess your opponent should have picked a different unit, or maybe deployed differently so as to have a more well-protected unit to choose?
A thing I wondered is how you were in range to charge on the first turn at all. The rules say you can only deploy models over 12" from enemy territory, so it seems like your models should all have been over 24" apart - with the exception of the Mounted Yeomen, who between their 12" move and post-setup Run can probably go wherever they want. Then you can only charge units within 12" (some models seem to be able to charge further than that, but I guess that just helps you make the distance or get the rearmost models closer to the enemy). Is that correct?
