Hey guys,
When the ranged Eternals come out (archers/crossbows) and I add them, I'm wondering if the Chaos side would be at a disadvantage without any range to answer with.
But when I look through Chaos warscrolls (not daemons...not a fan of their models), I don't see much in the way of ranged.
Does that leave...Skaven? Maybe a few Stormfiends?

You've got the Hellcannon at your disposal. The mounted marauder horsemen. Beyond that Chaos has never had ranged combat to speak of.
You could go Skaven, or convert some dwarves to be chaos dwarves. I think that would look cool and add some flair.

Tzeentch Demons have the shooting, with both Missile weapons and Magic Spells (some pretty nasty stuff too). If you don't want to use demons, you're probably left with Skaven.

Beastmen ungors have ridiculous amounts of quite decent shooting and you're still staying within Chaos faction. Hell, this is a comeback of the Realm of Chaos army from 5th ed where you had all three chaos factions in one book!

Cool - I really like the Beastmen models so that does sound like a good option!

Well, I'd go for some Chosen. They are fast and deadly in cc.
Moreover, they are one of the most cost effective units in the game: 5 models, 15 wounds, 26 €. This is a ratio of 1.73 €/wound.
Marauders and Forsaken also have a good cost ratio.
