Sticking my toe back into Warmachine and Hordes after a long time away.

Looking to put together a 15pt list for quick, casual play.

A cyclops and cataphract-heavy list seems thematically cool to me - like a Skorne Team Six.

Would appreciate some feedback on the following.

  • Dominar Rasheth (*5pts)

  • * Cyclops Savage (5pts)

  • * Cyclops Shaman (5pts)

  • Cataphract Cetrati (Leader and 3 Grunts) (8pts)

  • Feralgeist (1pts)

  • Feralgeist (1pts)

  • The idea would be for Rasheth and the Shaman to sit back and play support while the Cataphracts and Savage advance. The feralgiests would act as obstructions as well as targets for Rasheth's dark rituals spells.

Been out for years and years, so I'm not sure how effective this would work or where I need to make tweaks to things.

Which Cataphract unit should I look at here? The Cetrati or the semi-ranged hook and pull Auracarii?

Is the Savage going to work here or do I need the Brute?

If I don't spend the two points on Feralgeists, what should I pick up?
