Hi there, I'm wondering how excatly multiple flamers in a unit work, at least.. the removal of casualties part. The rules for multiple template weapons state that you should "resolve them on at a time". But now my question is: What is included in 'resolve'?
Page 26 states that casualties are removed when the number of wounds have been determined, and it suggests this is the number of wounds caused by one unit. So do you remove casualties between each flamer shot or not? (as anyone can imagine, this matters quite a bit for the number of hits caused and the torrent of fire 'rule')

Yes. Resolve the templates one at a time. Finish the entire shooting deal. Then do the next one.
That includes removing casualties.

Hmm... as far as I can tell, when each round of shooting is resolved seperately, unless a single template can accomplish the job, I don't see the possibility for the torrent of fire.

I don't think it's quite as bad as we're thinking. Remember that if you resolve a blast/template weapon before completeing the rest of the unit's shooting then the enemy unit will now (theoretically) have less models, meaning a slightly greater chance of triggering Torrent of Fire with the remaining wounds.
There is also nothing in the rules preventing a player from resolving the *last* template/blast (in a multiple blast/template shooting unit) along with the rest of the unit's "normal" shooting.

Thanks guys! This actually helps.
Would have been nicer if you'd only have to remove the casualties afterwards, but then again, I don't think you can expect that from a 3 point weapon, eh?
