Hello! I've posted another video battle report up on my Glacial Geek YouTube channel! It's an 1,850pt Maelstrom of War game between my Dark Angels and my opponent's Eldar: https://youtu.be/r7tHBrZy5Jg. I used the cool new Dark Angels Maelstrom mechanic where you hide your cards as you draw them and don't show your opponent if they're one of the Dark Angels' specific missions ... Kind of a cool mechanic for the most secretive of the Astartes!

haven't got through watching it yet, but a couple of points...

1. Plasma cannons. You should also roll a single dice to see if it overheats. This is the second BR I've seen where this is forgotten, unless there is an FAQ that I have missed.
2. Focused Witchfire...he has to beat the required Warp Charge dice for it to hit his intended target (Ezekiel), so you should have been able to allocate that attack to the closest target instead (because he only got the same number of successful dice as the warp Charge needed)

edit: lol, I guess I should have kept watching about 30 seconds more, haha.

however, this game was over before it began. The Dark Angel force was very tame, a nice fluffy list for casual gaming, whereas the Eldar force was just ugly un-fun list. Would have liked to have seen a more even match as the models and terrain are very nice.

The Gets Hot slips my mind from time to time ... Just one of those rules that trips me up every once in a while ... I usually remember it, but sometimes I forget and this time it just happened to be on tape ;-)

His list was a bit tough, but I'm not in this to just win them all (I mean, I play Dark Angels after all! ;-) ), and I don't demand lists before hand. I think things might have been a bit different had I not deep strike mishapped my Interrogator-Chaplain and his Deathwing Knights into oblivion, but it probably was an uphill battle.

Thanks for giving it a shot! I may be doing some more photography on the Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/glacialgeek ), but the YouTube channel is not the best place for simply photography. I try to make the custom thumbnails interesting though!
