Hi Guys,
So when Age of Sigmar launched I dived right into the new system by picking up the starter set. I wanted to do strictly chaos so I traded away the Stormcast side for another chaos side of the set. I ended up converting some of the heros so that they were different. As the weeks passed I had also picked up some chaos knights, and a slaughterbrute. I also already had a chaos sorcerer and a box of flamers. Now here is my dilemma. I cant decide what I want next for the army. In 8th ed I always used to make my determination on points, strength in game, and coolness of the models. Now with everything being an average strength and no points I find myself stuck. I was considering a box of chaos warriors and converting them to have great weapons, or buying a box of gors and a box of chaos warriors and converting them into Chosen. Adding demons would also be a neat idea. What do you guys think my army needs next? Thanks for any replies
List of stuff I have:
40 bloodreavers (I use them as marauders)
10 bloodwarriors
1 Khorgorath
1 Mighty Lord of Khorne
1 Blood Secrator
2 Bloodstoker
1 chaos exalted standard bearer (converted from blood secrator)
1 Khorne exalted hero (converted from Mighty lord of Khorne)
1 Demon Prince (converted from khorgorath)
5 chaos knights
1 slaughterbrute/vortex beast (magnetised)
1 chaos sorcerer lord
3 flamers of tzeentch

Ultramarine army- 10k
Imperial knights- 2
Vampire counts- 2k
Eternity King- 3k
Dark Eldar: Eternal Thorn 1300pts
And lots of other armies, I just cant fit them here

Get another Bloodsecrator and at least 1 of the new characters. See what else Khorne have on the horizon, but you've got the raw manpower, so look to units that buff that.

I'd say add characters that you think are cool or who can buff your army and make it play differently with different commands. I study the scrolls and find unique synergy between units I like. I then buy them and add them. Everything may seem average but average units can be better with synergy (for example Chakax and temple guard for lizardmen)
Since you appear to be playing more of a mixed god chaos army, I would add archaon... he is fun as hell to play.
I wpuld also look into getting a large based monster of some type... you could use the chaos beasts or demons. The biggest bloodthirster looks fun too.
Balanced armies seem to run troops, 1-3 heroes, and 1 monster

Gors would be a nice choice for the visual effect it would add to the army. I'd say buy whatever you want to paint/play with and whack it in there. That seems to be the generic answer with AoS.

Cygors are fun, and fit right in with the Khornate "BURN THE WITCH!" ethos.
But yeah, what Venerate1 said - unless you have a clear idea of what you definitely, definitely want, just get what you like the look of.
At worst, it'll be okay.

Bestigors usually work great with Khorne units as they're also big and choppy with their huge axes, and you get bonuses for attacking standard bearers and punish enemies for having standards in their units, giving you additional +1 to hit, so their two attacks become 3+/3+ Rend 1 Damage 1 attacks, they are extremely mobile as they can run and charge and you add +1" to their run and pile-in distances, so you're looking at heavy cavalry-like speed for them - great second wave chargers, flanking units or chasers if your cavalry will be busy. And overall both Minotaurs and Ghorgons are khorne-centric creatures as they live to butcher and devour their foes - in the armybook there was the Brass Bull, a minotaur who slaughtered so many enemies and allies alike Khorne himself noticed his exploits and turned him into a creature of living metal so he could even more effectively spill blood and take skulls in his name! And ghorgons are those minotaurs who ate so many of their own brethren and enemies that they mutated into giant beefmonsters with additional limbs so they could murder even more efficiently. If that's not Khorne, then I don't know what is! Cygors are a bit different as they're not as hell-bent on brutal slaughter and eating defeated foes (that's brutal), but as Roper said, they hate magic with passion, so you could even have one in your army as they fit Khorne's approach to mages and their ilk..

Thanks for all the great advice! Expanding into beastmen would be pretty cool... and super easy. Thats one of the things that I love about AOS.
