I'm wondering if there are any KOW players in the Toronto area. I'm about to pull the trigger on a basilean army, but I would love to line up some opponents before I do so. Let me know if you're out there!

A roommie and Myself are getting into Kings of War as well. I have recently bought the 2,000-point Undead Army (missing Illona, sadly), and my Roommie has a LOT of GW Empire Models that he uses as either Kingdoms of Man or as the League of Rhodia. We usually play at our house, unsurprisingly, but I don't think we're opposed to playing downtown. We're usually available Saturday.

That's AWESOME dude! I've got a Basilean army coming to me in the mail aswell. Mantic's undead range is unreal. I usually play at my house as well, but I have only amassed 40k terrain over the last year.

I am not actually downtown, but for a KOW opponent I'd be willing to travel a bit. I'm located in North York near near 404 and Leslie. My usual hang out is Heroes World in Markham, but even that is a bit of a trip.

When I get back to Canada I'm hoping to dive hardcore into Kings of War now that 8th is gone. I usually play at Heroes World too, though I would be willing to travel downtown.

Wow, North York as well? My closest intersection is Finch and Keele, near York University. My gaming group is playing all sorts of games, like Battle Group, Dropzone Commander, Axis and Allies Global 1940, and Eclipse. Send me a PM if you, or anybody else in Toronto, would like to try something with us.

I live out of the city but work downtown, so I try and stay and play sometimes.

is there an actual store that carries KOW miniatures? or we have to order online given we live in canada?

But does anyone know of any stores that host kings of war games or have a good community or even a gaming club that plays miniatures?

The closest store to me is meeplemart, but I have not seen people play kings of war there yet.

I, have to apologize in advance for such a late reply but I just found this post and I just got the rule book for KoW.

I would love to get started in playing this game, I live in Toronto and am able to travel anywhere.
If you might need a ride to the game store that should not be a problem either.

I play with a friend of mine at Meeplemart occasionally. Grab a table when It's open.

But now they have more organized gaming so that may be harder.
