We all know the game is not just played on the table. It's in our heads. It's how you get under the opponent's skin, or he yours.

What are some of the best ways you've tried (or been on the receiving end) messing with your opponent?

My list:

- Talking/distracting him while it's his turn. Kind of like when someone's trying to remember numbers and you keep blurting out random numbers to throw them off.

- Bouncing dice off his models.

- "Accidentally" moving scenery when you brush against it.

- Always telling your opponent what he's doing is a bad idea. Makes him rethink everything.

- I remember back before we could measure everything in Warhammer, I had some pens/books I had measured out and I would place them around the table so I could nail my guesses. Was a good one for my Dwarfs.

What are some other good ones?

All great ways to make sure you earn the title of "that guy" and why you'll likely find yourself unable to find games once word gets around. You can call it getting under their skin or gaming them if it helps you sleep at night, but most of us are going to see it as you just being a douchebag and crappy opponent to play with.

What you're doing is a bad idea. I would recommend going home and rethinking your life.

Moving on.
