Hi everyone

so my girlfriend and a few others run a successful raffle page on facebook and I thought id see if this forum was interested in a Warhammer version of it.

The way it operates is, for example I find an item on the GW website or ebay etc (brand new not second hand) and post up a picture of it. Say the item is £18 to buy, I would list 10 numbers at £2 each. Buyers would then Paypal me the money for the numbers and once all numbers have been paid for I would then record a video showing the time of recording, me manually posting ready at the set time and then using Randorm.org to generate a random number.

If I only manage to sell say 6 out of 10 numbers I would then do what is called a mini, where I would post another list of 10 numbers but at a much cheaper price. Then out of that second list I would pick 4 winners (again random) who would then get the last 4 numbers on the main to make up the 10.

So the idea of this is you could get something that is usually £18 for as little as £2, or 4/6/8 depending on how many numbers you buy.

ALtertanitvely if minis have to be done you could get a £2 number for say 80p to a £1.

The more expensive the item the higher the numbers will cost, but will always be a saving.

Is this something this forum would be interested in?

Let me know

Thanks

IIRC when this sort of thing came up before it was decided that the potential risks really outweighed the alleged benefits.

.. So, probably, we'll so no this time.

Will check with da Management anyway however.

I'm gonna lock this in the meantime, feel free to PM a MOD if you wish to discuss this further.
