First off I hope this is not a resurgence of an old post if it is apologize. I was watching the Battlestar Galactica mini series the other day when I noticed what appeared to be a Firefly transport flying around the skies of Caprica city. Its about 15 minutes in when Laura Rosling is in the doctors office. As they pan down form the window you can see it. Sorry I do not know how to post a link to show it.

On moon miranda.

Here's what you're looking for.
There's also a scene somewhere in the series where they sneak the original Enterprise into the fleet.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

Apparently the Millennium Falcon can be seen fighting the Borg in First Contact.

Yup. And Vampires (Buffy/Angel) showing up in Babylon5 due to Optic Nerve doing the VFX for both. Or Farscape references showing up in S10 of Stargate SG-1 (the SFX crews did not work on Farscape - but Ben Browder and Claudia Black DID and the crews WERE fans of that show, too). SFX guys (and girls) are SF nerds too. They put these things in so that their fellow nerds can squee when they see them.

Going right back, the original Battlestar Galactica had the freighters from Silent Running in the fleet - using the same bit of stock footage over and over again, beause the models had been destroyed by that point so they couldn't film any more.
There's also a Lambda-class shuttle taking off in the background as we pan across the market on Persephone when we're introduced to Kaylee, Book and Simon Tam in the first episode of Firefly.
And then there's the ET aliens in the Senate chamber in The Phantom menace.
Not quite the same thing, but the shooting model for the Tantive IV had a tiny Star Wars movie poster, and a Playboy centrefold in the bridge control room, there's a toy soldier somewhere in the "greeblies" on the Super Star Destroyer and the Transamerica pyramid building is visible amongst the structures on the second Death Star around the docking bay where the Emperor's shuttle arrives.

Ooohhhh, I loved that show too! Now I'm going to have to rewatch it. (Farscape, that is.)
Also, mmmmmm Claudia Black..... She's not conventionally pretty, I suppose, but man, she's sexiness incarnate! Maybe it's the Australian accent.

Yeah, I have fond memories of Farscape - from my brief time in "the mines" (SFX peon).
