This is more tactics or YMDC, but I'll answer you.
SWS are independent units from the platoons from which they were bought. Basically, an infantry platoon is a single FOC troops choice that consists of at least 1 PCS unit, and 2 Infantry Squad Units (which may then be combined into a single Infantry Squad Unit at the start of the game, but you have to pay for both.)
SWS is an additional unit that may be bought in the platoon FOC choice.
SWS do not get a dedicated transport option (That is, an extra vehicle that does not take up a FOC choice).
SWS may load up in any battle brother's transport at the start of the game, unless it is a dedicated transport for a different unit. (So if you buy a Taurox dedicated to another unit, the SWS cannot start the game embarked on it. However, it can start right next to it, then hop in on its first turn, and use it from there.)
The Vendetta is a Fast Attack choice that has a transport capacity. It is not a dedicated transport for any unit in the AM codex. You can purchase a squadron (1-3 of them) and then during deployment "deploy" the SWS into the vendetta. The vendetta will then come on as normal.
The SWS does not need to be with the rest of its platoon in any way shape or form. Your platoons can be scattered all across the board, some squads deployed, others in reserve, etc. Units must deploy or be held in reserve. A Platoon is a single choice made up of different units.
