Subject: Fluff-related RL language question(Norse/Marauders/actual Scandinavian)

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Just a quick one, I'm wondering if there's a specific way of saying "half-giant" in any of the Scandinavian/Nordic languages that would sound right as a second name, as my Mordheim roster is looking a bit dull atm with all the X'ssons and Y'sdottirs but I would like to stick with Norse-inspired naming conventions.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal |

That's a pretty good one right there, RoperPG. I think I'd go for Halvjotun, or Jotunblod (meaning blood of giants).

Ooh thanks guys, I think I'm going to actually struggle to pick between those they both feel fun to say depending on which first name I put with them(seriously, I think the main reason I enjoy viking mythology & Old World Chaos is the link to Nordic/Scandi languages, although I doubt I'll ever be able to pronounce the Swedish word for "situation" ).
