I was wondering if there was a method or contraption for organising dice. In some of the games I play you need to role like 30 d6 dice and was wondering if there was something that could be used to organise them to avoid/speed up,the counting out?

Use bigger dice. It's hard to see them tiny little 12mm dice, Go with at least 16mm, That or switch to games with a max of like 6 Dice.....

Just keep organised during your opponent's turn.
I have 16mm square dice, all the same size, and keep them in the corner of the board, racked up in a rectangle. Dice get shoved back into the rectangle at the end of my turn, while my opponent is moving.
When I need to count 30 dice out, I do them by row of 5 or 10. Much faster.

Have exact quantities of different colors, such as 10 black, 10 green, 5 red, 5 blue. This lets you grab some to roll various quantities without having to count up from zero.

Who *counts* dice individually? You just shuffle them in to a grid and use basic math to calculate how many there are. 3x3? 9 dice. 4x4? 16 dice. 5x6? 30 dice. I don't think I count dice at all, I just see how many there are in a row and then multiply out to figure out how many there are. For rolling, a dice tower can be useful, or if you can't be bothered getting a dice tower just a tray like the lid of box works fine too. Unless you lose one and don't notice and then you end up rolling 1 less die all the time

If you have to roll for different things at once, just have different coloured dice. Also looks better if they're not just scattered all over the table, plus you lose less.

Yeah, that's the risk but I assume you'd check them again between games... so really just a risk of losing one mid-game. Good incentive not to toss your dice halfway across the board knocking down everyone's models!
