I'm a long time lurker on Dakka, but first time poster. I figured it was time to take the plunge and actually get involved in the discussion!

I currently only play 40k, with my main armies being Imperial Guard and Sisters of Battle, often times with support from the Inquisition. I do also dabble with Space Wolves, but they really don't see the table top very much.

I'm currently spending my time hanging out in southern Afghanistan, far away from my miniatures and paint, so I'm using Dakka here to get my wargaming fix.

Looking forward to being part of the group here and talking about our great hobby!

Edit: I also forgot to mention that I have a pretty serious weakness for metal models. My latest Imperial Guard project is Steel Legion, Sisters of course, and I'm a huge fan of all the wacky over the top Inquisition models out there.

Right now I'm the only Sisters player in my local area that I am aware of, so it is kind of neat how each game with a new player is a new experience for them. Plus I find guard and sisters synergize pretty well, with guard doing the long range shooting and sisters getting in close (but not too close since they are still mere humans after all!).
