So with what I have/have in the mail, I can make the following list.
Group 1: 9 regular, 1 irregular, 1 impetuous
Grunt with LGL(Lt)
3 Paramedic Grunts
Grunt with HMG
Marauder paramedic(2 light flamers and rifle)
Foxtrot Forward Observer(rifle+mines)
112
Devil Dog with Heavy Shotgun and Antipode
Group 2:
Maverick(Boarding Shotgun)
Grunt(Sniper Rifle, Marksmanship LX)
Grunt(Heavy flamer, inferior infiltration)
Hardcase(Bow+Rifle)
Dozer(MUL control device)
2 MUL(Uragan MRL, Total Reaction)
Is this fairly balanced?
I've been having some issue with my dudes not having great BS and Phy, leading to me losing quite a few dudes and I can never seem to bring my numbers to bear properly. I also tend to lose my Devil Dog. He runs up, maybe kills something, and dies.

1st, your Devil dog WILL die, that's absolutely normal. Even if you use McMurrough, he never survives the game
Switch a guy (non grunt) from group1 with the Grunt Sniper, that way you have a "spare" grunt for your Group1 fireteam, having the +3 BS bonus from fireteams alleviates the low BS a lot
You have a lot of specialists, is that because ou play ITS? In that case I'd recommand much more Foxtrot FOs, they're probably the best specialist in the game (tied with Chasseur FO)

I'm ok with the Devil Dog dying, I just don't seem to accomplish much with him before he does. Maybe I just need some tips on how to use him. I've had him do good stuff in one game, where I just rolled really hot for armor saves. It seems like I always take a wound from AROs during my impetuous order.
I haven't been using link teams or anything, whats this +3BS thing?
I have a lot of Paramedics mostly to make up points as these are all the models I have, and it seems that its best to have more than one medic in case yours dies.

Depending on how many guys you have in a link you get increasing bonuses. Definitely worth looking into for Grunts. Also increases order efficiency massively, which in a list with a lot of orders already is just wonderful

Yeah, I was trying to find those rules but they aren't in the regular rules, and I hear they are coming out with new ones.
I guess the increased movement alone would be great. But from what I hear only the link leader(which you can change at the end of each order they use) can make attacks.

Or hack or medic or what have you. Only the link leader is making the action as it were, however all can take part in move orders. Additionally, they can all ARO. Which can be just fantastic. You can have a 5 man link team throwing 10 shots at +3 BS (before other modifiers) into whoever shoots at them if they can all draw LoS. While only using 2 orders to move them all 8-12" forwards and shoot twice at what is usually B3 or so after the additional Burst and again at +3 BS.
Links are the best fun. I quite like having 2 "on the table" as it were. Basically one forms, does it's business, when it finally goes down the other forms up and has a crack. Very doable in Ariadna, less so with the other factions. But we're the best so who cares about the rest of them

Is there a distance that linked models have to be within each other for the link to remain? Or can I have the guys spread way out.
and wtf? The Tactical Bow on the Hardcase is Anti-material?
edited the above list. Swapped the Minuteman and the Sniper around. I assume I would make a link team of the 3 paramedics and the HMG grunt?

Link team guys need to be close together, the rules can be found in Human Sphere (and yes,, they'll get rewritten / reworked in the coming Human Sphere N3)

The Link Team rules are in Human Sphere. At the moment, you'll need the Human Sphere/Campaign: Paradiso PDF (and the N3 Profiles and N3 Weapons PDFs, too) for those, and the other PDF that tweaks some of those rules for N3.
Yes, they'll be replaced by the proper 3rd edition Human Sphere book, but the release date for that is currently "soon ... ish. Later this year. Or possibly next year". Don't hold your breath. It's one of the advantages of using a Sectoral army list rather than the full Ariadna army, so not using them means you're handicapping yourself (especially as USARF get a Haris link too, which means you can get a second 3-man link team as well,if you want).
Also, remember the Devil Dog has smoke grenades.

Regarding the Devil Dog. Try to take advantage of terrain to block LOS to any ARO shots, and use his smoke grenade to block LOS for pushing up the field.
With his impetuous order, move up and throw a smoke to block any shots for upcoming moves.
Then, use that smoke LGL on the Maverick to lay down more smoke for the Devil Dog and K9 to move forward with their Irregular order.
Since you are playing USARF only, I would definitely look up Fireteam rules (link teams) in the various PDFs.
Basically at 3 guys in link, you get +1B to your weapons, either for link leader in active turn, or all members in reactive turn.
4 guys = Sixth Sense level 2. Can shoot back at people through smoke, and behind you.
5 guys= +3 BS to all your BS shots. Great for hosing people down
I would drop 2 of your Paramedic grunts to FO grunts. This will give you more specialists if you need them, and also FO markers for your Mul's to take advantage of. That extra +3 to BS or the ability to use spec fire at +6 BS is awesome.
May want to swap out a Urugan for a Katyusha.. but I still need to play with those myself to find what works for them.

Yeah, I've figured that out. Pop out smoke to cover myself, but it seems there is too much freaking MSV2+ out there.
