So really quick the original colours of this warband are the world eaters colour but with the omega symbol carved into their shoulder. But it changes; this is also the shortest way I can put this story in. please read and tell me what I should keep in mind what the name of the warband should be and what are their tactics and what should be their battle cry, I will post more and hopefully you guys can enjoy this, ps. Yursus is a captain of the 6th company of the world eaters, ever since he reached his rank he realized that there are two other captains that steal the favour of kharn and angron that is the captains of the 5th and 4th company. He had a very strange mutation (might be because of the feral world he came from more on that later) to resist the butcher's nails, this maid him very smart but not that strong since he did know fear and could not go as berserk as his brothers. During the siege of terra he manages to persuade the captain of the 5th to attack a gun emplacement, therefore causing the captain to face a horrible death with his officers. The 5th company leaderless, they take orders from Yursus and had fled well before the evidential failure of the battle, foreseeing the catastrophe in a vision. He then regroups with angron and the world eaters and begin the dominion fire campaign. During the campaign, he stumbles upon a halberd, which was rumoured to be a tzeentchian artifact due to its changing in physical form, but the rumors quickly found out that it did not matter since Yursus became much more skilled and stronger and becoming a favoured of khorne. At the end of the of the campaign, Yursus achieved the name by Angron himself "the bear" for his ferocity in battle without the need for the butcher's nails. Then during the tragedy of skallathrax Yursus challenged the 4th captain to a duel, the winner gains the other captain's company and after the happening of the campaign the company of Yursus only had 500 marines, while the 4th company had 1000, so this was a significant point in the warband's life. In the end with the halberd, the skill, and the favouritism, the 4th captain gets destroyed. With a 1500 strong warband Yursus leaves skallathrax and settles in his home world Os ultra. An imperial world once controlled by an imperial guard regiment, immediately taken by the warband, however the imperial guardsmen did send for the space marines. The space wolves, salamanders, blood angels and the black dragons arrived to purge the planet, although the imperials outnumbered the chaos, the chaos managed to win by a massive first strike before the imperials could even begin the first mission, this strike happened in space and caused mass deaths on both sides, the strong 1500 were now a dwindled 205. But with the gene seed in the hundreds the warband began to recruit, and due to the large amounts of people and forests the warband managed to recreate its glory in only a year. However there are mutations, caused by a warpstorm and the gene seed. There were three stages, 1. The first phase of the mutation called the earthbound was the least likely and causes fur to grow on the skin of the marines, long hard nails, and hard teeth. 2. The most likely is to grow fur, black eyeballs, keen eyesight, long hard nails, sharp teeth and they develop a language only spoken by the phase 3 and 2 and cannot be learned since it changes as the mutation changes. Phase 3 is all of the above, but it causes the person to become blind to everything (metaphorically) they become super bloodthirsty and can only speak the language with only managing to speak high gothic at certain times, these people are usually killed or used as scouts, but are too unreliable.

recruitment process

every couple is required to make a minimum of 8 babies, through proteins and drugs this is made possible. 4 out of the 8 babies are required to be sacrificed to the blood god and sent to the grinder (more on that later) three are taken by cultists for training, the last baby is taught to learn how to be a slave depending on gender (females are sent to be breeders) the three babies are trained until the age of 10 by the monarch surgeon (which is why they are so low on the space marine ranking chart) then at the age of 10 the infants must kill each other and the last one alive is forced to explore the forests of the feral world and hunt down a rhino sized bear at the age of 15. if the boy returns with the head and the fur as coat then he is sent to become a space marine. if the person returns failing, he is whipped 200 times in the name of the khrone and sent to the grinder. during surgery they are forced to stay awake during the process and read the 888 pages of the book of the earthbound, which is a book forcing the marines to honor the warband, khorne, the monarch and their earthbound brothers. at any point they stop then they are killed by the surgeon who begins to feast on the organs. this only happens when they are being put the organ that does not require the stasis of the initiate.

the taking of all their moons from the small tomb worlds present

the biggest battle of them all would be the taking of the last world on their system (5 worlds, lots of moons and one blue sun) they encountered a massive tomb world and were pushed back and received massive casualties including the death of the second in command monarch captain. with this Yursus grew so furious that he drove his ship right into the core of the tomb world, just before ejecting out, the collision covered the sky with smoke and caused millions of slaves, marines, necrons and native species to die. and then right after a warp gate opened and through it flood the cohort of khorne, a daemonic legion and completely slaughtered the necrons. the surprise and the assault of the necrons was so bad that the warband had lost 3/4 of its strength and only one ship remaining, the one ship was not enough to take everyone back, so most of the marines were left to stay and slowly perish, since the impact was so hard that the world began to end. because of this the Yursus created the grinder, a machine that is used to extract the inside and the pulp of the inside and it is used to write the book of the earthbound that every marine must carry. the bones are used with chemicals and are made to powder the space marine's Armour, in remembrance of the marines that died against the necrons. the book also recites the death of the marines and the honor of Yursus and his fearlessness when the ship crashed into the planet.
