Is it me or is this new supposedly expensive new piece of tau terrain really simple to make yourself from a bit of blue foam, some lasercut blue acrylic, a railgun and some tau antenna bits.

Sure. And while you're at it, you can sculpt your own Tau from chewing gum, paperclips and a bit of pluck.

Most stuff can be scratch built if you put your mind to it. Kits are sold for those who would rather not.

Lol yeah you could do that but, sculpting a humanoid figure is while these tau walls seem to in the reach of most hobbyist.
