Big big hello to everyone here!
Hi all,
Long time browser here, mainly into painting anything and everything in pretty much every scale from 6 to 28mm and a litl bit beyond that! I'm having a bit of a 40k renaissance at the moment but will paint or play anything that appeals.

Welcome to Dakka  from what I can see epic 40k is having it's own renaissance at the moment, plenty of blogs have epic plastered all over them.

Thanks Folks! Yes, all the Epic stuff I've seen on here recently is one of the reasons I joined. I also love Gorkamorka and habe got a stack of minis to paint for it!

Thank you very much for the welcome everyone, it is much appreciated!
I am on a bit of a mini painting hiatus at the moment so joining a new forum seemed a good way of getting my mojo back. I'm currrently building lots of model kits and looking at the lead pile longingly so I feel a burst of mini painting is going to happen soon. I got a little burnt out painting Warmachine Cygnar late last year and that seemed to have a knock on effect on all my other mini painting, but I think I'm gravitating back towards it!
As i said above I paint pretty much everything; historicals, fantasy, sci fi and 40K obviously, although I prefer my Beakie marines to anything else in that universe. As well as my Epic and Gorkamorka love, I've also got a couple of copies of the most recent Space Hulk, a game I dearly wished I had got into when it first came out!
And, I'm getting very excited about the new 30K boxed set in te offing too, and I don't think I'm the only one here who is...
