Hi guys,

after a long WH Fantasy break i decide to go back to my Astra Militraum army. I am currently working on it (assemble miniatures, paint them etc) and i took a closer look to one spcial rule; the combined squads rule.

So before the game starts i have to emphasise that my 3x10 Platoons are one unit. Am i right? But what happens next? Ok, it is clear that i can take a bigger advantage from the orders but how do i handle the rest? For example
1. Platoon has a flamer, vox caster
2. Platoon has a rocketlauncher team, vox caster (should have because it is stil in the box set)
3. Platoon melter, vox caster (should have because it is stil in the box set)

If i combine them to one unit, do if have 3 sergeants 3 vox casters and one flamer, one rocketlauncher and one melter? Or must i degrade 2 of my sergeants to normal soldiers and ignore 2 of my vox casters? what happend with the special weapons like flamer, rocketlauncher and melta gun?

Rules questions should go in the You Make Da Call forum.

If you combine three infantry units, you'll end up with three sergeants, and all of their special / heavy weapons and all their voxcasters (useful in case one or two die to snipers).
