Hello Dakka

I will be living in Birmingham from the 12/11 and on and I was wondering if there are any good stores and/or gaming clubs around that area to socialise.

So far I have visited GW Birmingham and to be honest I was not very excited from the quality and quantity of terrain pieces there.

Thanks in advance

I go to a decent club in the south western edge of Birmingham (Rubery/Frankley area). We mostly play 'specalist' games, Epic is a staple and we currently have a Necromunda campaign) but its easy enough to get a game of 40k.

The terrain has been changing around a fair bit recently in the store, but the larger desert board is being kept relatively bare for a 40K campaign that just started where bringing your own terrain is a big part of it.

There's also October Wargaming in Ladywood, I'd be going there myself if it wasn't such a pain in the backside to get to on public transport from Hall Green.
