Subject: Question about playing mixed army, for example sectorial troups with regular troops

Hello all, im brand new to Infinity and I had a question for you. I just picked up some models from the operation icestorm set and the models I got were the PanO ones. I want to do the sectorial Military Orders, and I was under the impression that you could not mix sectorial troops with anything else, be it sectorial or vanilla. I didnt realize till after I paid that the troops I bought wernt all from the military orders.
Can you please give me the reference page pointing this out? Im still kinda struggling to navigate the downloadable rulebook. Im glad ctrl+F works!
Thank you!

If you play a sectorial, you are no longer playing the main faction list and your army list chart is no longer the main vanilla one. For PanO, if you want to play MO, You go from the options on p190-191 to the ones on p193. Sectorials and their rules are a somewhat confusing mess atm given that those rules are STILL 2nd ed and are being updated in the reprinted HS (with included Paradiso rules/units). Anything not on p193 list CANNOT be taken in that sectorial, regardless of whether it is a faction panO unit or not. So no croc-men, no nisses, no aquila guard, no swiss guard, etc but you gain the ability to form fireteams and a higher AVA of key units.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

p191-193 of what? Im looking at the downloadable rulebook off the infinitythegames website Automatically Appended Next Post: Ahh...I think I got it. If I build a list based on the army builders Nilla style, Ill be ok though? Automatically Appended Next Post: Ahhh I see the difference now. In MO I can take 4 Knights of Santiago for example, whereas in the Nilla list I can only take 1. I see! Also, they arnt linkable. Ok, cool. Thanks!

There should be an Army List download, separate to the Rules, so p193 of that.
Keep using the online Army Builder, though. Another of Infinity'sĀ little "quirks" is that a couple of point costs in the English Army Lists are incorrect, and I'm not sure if they ever got around to fixing them.
The official Army Builder is used for official tournaments, though, so that should always be correct.

Also, bear in mind that that page will have the most up to date. Concerning your specific case, the Seraph recently got a new and extremely hot profile. Nearly same price, but now with better stats and super-jump!
