Hi everyone,

Have been playing Car Wars (the old classic) -- scaling it up 2.5X so that we can play with modified Hot Wheels.

That's been lots of fun --but we keep ending up with under-powered models.

On the one hand, this is probably because we've been playing Orks - and keep putting as many weapons as we can on our cars.

On the other hand, wondering if anyone happens to know if it is legal in the rules to use **two power plants** in one vehicle? While really expensive in terms of dollars, it would solve our problem of power.

Quick link to our work and ideas so far.... http://battlegaming1.blogspot.in/2015/11/car-wars-and-hot-wheels-playing-steve.html

Thanks

IIRC from back in the day, we almost never used the stock plants in arena duels. Gas we just better from a cost/weight/power POV. They added more, and mods to boost the old ones, but it didn't fix the underlying issues.

Assuming that you are using the old rules, there is nothing preventing you from putting two plants in the one car. However, you could only ever benefit from one plant at a time.

Besides, you then have the issue of space, 2 PPs takes up a lot of room and so have no space left for weapons or people for that matter.

Cheers

Andrew
