Numberless Necron Warrior

Hi there,

I recently found myself with some spare time and decided to pick up a 40K kit to give painting miniatures a go. I've wanted to build my own Necron army since I saw them in Games Workshop back in high school (about 10 years ago now!) so I grabbed a pack of warriors to practice with, and now that I'm starting to get the hang of it I thought I'd join in on the online community to share my progress and see what others are doing.

Once I'm done painting this squad I plan on buying a reclamation legion and building a serious army from there. At this stage I don't plan on actually playing any of the pieces I paint on the tabletop, I'd just be doing as a hobby/for display purposes, but we'll see what happens.

Below are a couple of pics of what I've done so far. Again, these are just practice pieces so they're pretty rough. hopefully you'll see an improvement as I continue

This guy's my favourite. I tried posing all of them side-on to give the impression they've caught their prey out the corner of their eye mid-march, and are turning so it's like an "oh shi-, he's seen me :|" moment, and I think this one conveyed that best.

Anyway, looking forward to posting more and getting to know the forums better. See you round!

What's left of Cadia

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Great choice for an army , I have one of my own and I dearly love playing it! Best of luck.
