I've just started getting into X-wing and want to find if theres somewhere near me that does games nights/tournaments etc. Anyone heard of anywhere doing this?

I imagine your number one source if almost certainly Firestorm Games in Cardiff. I know they've done X-wing tournaments at least once before.

Firestorm has people playing pick up games of X-Wing most Tuesdays and Thursdays, and as Compel said, they run regular tournies as well. Rules of Play, the board game shop in the arcade behind GW Cardiff has done X-Wing tournaments in the past as well, but I'm not sure if they still do.
