Hello All,

Does anyone have any suggestions, rules, lists, equipment etc, for gaming "what-if" battles in the North Atlantic between the Soviet and American Navies? I was thinking 1/2400th scale ships and aircraft.

Any ideas welcome.

Cheers,

AMR

Harpoon by Larry Bond is the game you want. It's a classic of the genre and covers exactly the 1980s period in question.

I gave up modern naval in the 90s, so I don't know anything about the current state of the rules, unfortunately.

I used to play with 1/3000 scale models from NavWar. GHQ supply 1/2400 scale, which are more detaield and more expensive.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
