Hey guys, I have been working hard to get my stormcast finished before the begining of the year. Wanted to attend the first AoS event in the US for 2016. I'm new to events so how do you guys normally find them? Is Google my best friend for this, or is there a better way?

First and foremost I would try the FLGS. You can also try using Dakka's Player/Store Finder.

Failing those, you always have Google, indeed

I would actually like to start hosting annual narrative events for both AoS and 40k. The problem I run into is costs. Its expensive to run one and often in the past I've had to eat the cost myself.

It's a very expensive thing indeed. I will try the Dakka finder.

It's going to be harder to find organized events because the game doesn't lend itself to standard tournament play - as auticus says, a narrative event would be a much better fit.
