Hey guys,

I hope this is an okay place to make this post, if not I do apologize. Basically I am trying to shop for my boyfriend. He loves Warhammer and plays regularly, I've picked him up a few models I knew he wanted already but I really would like to get him a case to transport his army as his recently broke. The issue I'm having is I'm a bit lost about what sort of case I should get him. His current one is GW and I know he didn't like it that much. I've done some research and Battlefoam cases seem pretty nice, But, now I'm having a tough time figuring out what size he would need for a true scaled space marine army. Are these cases even that good? Do you guys have any recommendations? I'm sorry, I'm pretty lost when it comes to this sort of thing. I appreciate any input whatsoever.

Thank you

When buying cases you really need to know what models the person has so you can make sure it all fits. Can you give us a list of everything his normal army includes?

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I just copy and pasted this, I really hope he does not see it. His army is true scaled, you can take a peek at his instagram and get an idea of some of the sizes its https://www.instagram.com/kevinbosta/
Also, ignore the wood elf army that fell by the wayside when the rules changed for fantasy. This is specially for the iron hands army.

Thank you

Also, he still has a few points to spend but not many. I think he was adding some librarians.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

I'd check out KR multicases.

Even with his truescale marines they should still fit comfortably in their standard infantry foam. For vehicles and larger models pluckfoam is a better choice if you aren't going to go for custom cut foam.

You can then buy KR multicases cardboard boxes which fit their standard trays. They're decently sturdy, good enough for lugging around to game night unless you are really hard on them. And they're nice and modular so its not hard to grab them or put them in some sturdier carrier if you need better protection.

Looky Likey

If you email KR Multicase they'll even work out what cases you need from the models.
