Hey guys, I've just been wondering how to make a Cadian Battlegroup detachment on Battlescribe. I've been trying to imitate the Admech war convocation, (or whatever) but have had no success. Anyone good with Battlescribe know how to add a command section into the Cadian Battlegroup?

And also, is the Iron Left worth taking over a power Maul? The points dont matter at this point but I've been wondering if having an ap of 3 is worth taking over an ap4 weapon with concusive. They both give +2 strength but can't decide on which weapon is better. Any help with either question will be appreciated!

Wait for the battlescribe data files to get updated.

And I would question taking any melee weapon on a Guard character - at that point your just taking it for a gaks and giggles, so you may as well pick whatever weapon you think sounds cooler. AP3 is probably more useful than AP4 with concussive though, points not withstanding.

Yeah I was thinking that too, but for a guard character to have a concusive, it really is a big bonus, considering how just about everything will attack before he will.

The guard character will have to survive to I3 to be able to swing with it though, and then push through an unsaved wound so the enemy is swinging last on the next round. In other words, it's probably not going to do much. Especially because anything S6+ will insta-death him.

The exception being Power Axes on Sergeants in a blob of course.
