What is your favorite army of the Imperium and why?

Skitarii. I like the models best, even though they are fiddly.

Ps.: I think the thread is in the wrong forum? Unless you're talking about tactics. I can't figure that out from just that one sentence.

**Vector Strike**

Dark Angels: I really like their indumentary and heraldry. Also, they have deeper fluff than many other Chapters.

Raven Guard: Marines who defy the "we don't need cover" and "Marines are slumbering brutes" stereotypes. They're tactical, use shadows and deception and aren't snobs, helping whoever need them most.

Blood angels, for the Imperium. Outside of the Imperium, it's Orks. WAAAGH!

It's a toss up between White Scars (I love their style of combat, I normally play hit and run in any game I play) and Blood Angels (Sanguinius is a boss). Dark Angels too, although I'm not a huge fan of their play style, despite the Lion being a badass

Choosing my favorite army of the Imperium is like choosing my favorite annoying bird chirping outside my window at the crack of dawn. But I guess the Imperial Guard is pretty cool, so "other" for your poll I guess.

Imperial Guard, because nothing says "Send in the Next Wave!" like conscripts and blamming commissars!

Space Marines. Salamanders. Very simple, very effective army.

Dark Angels. Coolest fluff, a good mix of good guys with bad tendencies, all about the secrets, and some of the coolest looking models. Too bad we don't get all the shiny toys regular SM do.

Sisters of Battle. I don't have a lot of hope for the models, but I love the fluff and the look of the army. I still read through my 2nd Ed codex every few months for a good fluff read. I think if they are ever going to get a remake, GW is going to have completely redo their playstyle to separate it from the rest of the Imperium.

Outside of that, AdMech as a whole is my favorite imperial army in terms of models, fluff, and playstyle.

Salamanders have a soft spot in my heart from way back in the 3rd war for Armageddon when they were I3 slowpokes.

Imperial Fists. Easily my favorite space marine chapter. Ravenwing and Deathwing are high up there too. Sisters of Battle was my main army till I sadly had to let them go(wasnt allowed to play them locally)

Inquisition!
Nobody dares to scew aound with them. They boss around greyknights and have a space marine chapter dedicated to them. They look great and having a 200yr old granpa that rekts is full of win.

On the table top however they're alright but GW needs to make acolyte plastic kits.

I may have started with xenos, but I'll die with Grey Knights.

Death Korps for aesthetics and not being scared humans vs the big means xenos.

Scions for being elite humans that aren't mutated freak and horrible fluff.

Inquisition since I can latch him and his merry band of misfits onto another of my imperial armies and get to make my models unique since they draw people from all over the galaxy.

Carcharodons GET gak DONE when no one else in the Imperium can handle it. They're the guys the High lords call up when the Minotaurs get stomped.

Dark Angels. Mainly because they have well written deep fluff, good characters, are a bit more grimdark than the modern Space Marine, and who doesn't love knightly bike spam with 2++/3++ jinks?
