Two best places to check are Time Warp Comics and Maplewood Hobby. Both are around 20 mins from you and play most of the big games (warmachine, 40k, WFB, DZC, Malifaux) Neither has a specific club I know of, just players that show up most nights of the week.

Another option is Ordo Malleus Club at Toywiz in Nanuet. Good club with a forum and lots of games played. It is 40 mins from you though.

At Maplewood hobby, they do Fridays as a 40k night and Saturdays as open gaming. With Time Warp it is more complicated. I believe Wednesdays and Thursdays are the day. However, plenty of other games are being played then so it can be a little annoying to find games there. 40k isn't as popular there. If you message Haldir on here he can help you though.

He is a local player in the area who regularly runs tournaments there. Otherwise you will just have to meet some of the guys who play there and get some phone numbers.

Toywiz in Nanuet has a forum. You just post requesting a game and someone will respond. Most of the players have 40k it just other games are more popular right now. There are still several regular players. However, with the forum you don't have to make a trip if you don't have to. The club is pretty great the only disadvantage is it is a bit farther away. I still regularly play most of my games there because the community is so nice and games so easy to find.

New Jersey

There are a few good NJ Facebook groups to join

NJ Gamer and North Jersey Wargamers are good starting points, people are always looking for games/coordinating events.

I get games at Highlander Games in Boonton on most weekends.

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."
