Hey guys so I'm starting a Orcs and goblins force for AoS and I have brought myself a box of savage orcs. Anyone got any suggestions how to kit them out

I've been eying up the savage orcs recently myself, great models. Looks like taking them in bigger units is preferable. The Big Stabba is awesome with 3 damage. I would probably go for stone choppas with the -1 rend with bows in the other hand, which makes a pretty effective close combat unit with a bonus of shooting. I would probably skip the shields as relying on 6+ saves can be frustrating and without them you can either get an extra attack in combat or the arrows.

Ah nice I'm considering bows myself it looks like the bows are one handed too which is nice. From what I've looked through the war scrolls orcs looks like a really fun army to play

I like going with Stone Choppas and Bone Shivs for combat units and Feral Bows with Extra Arrows for the shooting ones. Having two weapons works better with the Savage Orc Warboos command ability or the formation bonus if you use the Bonesplittaz Mob. Plus the Extra Arrows on the shooty Orcs let them hit on 4+ if they don't move.
