HQ: (715 points)

praetor (paragon blade, Iron halo) pride of the legion ROW
Centurion: Cataphractii Armour, chainfist, combi bolter
Invictarus Suizerain Command Squad: 5 Invictarus, Land raider Phobos DT

Troops: 810 Points
Veteran tactical squad: 2 Missile launchers w/ suspensors
Veteran tactical squad: 1 Missile launcher w/ suspensors, 1 melta gun
Veteran tactical squad: 2 Plasma Guns
All 10 man All get melta bombs

Fast Attack: 510 points
Legion seeker squad: 10 man, 4 combi plasma
Locutarus Storm Squad: 5 man, P fist on strike leader

Lord Of War: 400 points
Roboute Guilliman

Still have 65 points to kick around. Probably going to outflank the Veterans and grant them either tank hunter or implacable advance with guillimans special rule. Everyone else moves up and Guilliman and company spear head the assualt in thier land raider.

Thoughts?

My first thought is that you are woefully low on numbers for a 2500pt game, and very little anti tank. I really don't think you'll get much mileage from 3 veteran squads for 810pts, especially when you can get 40 regular tacticals plus tanks or support squads for that same cost.

I'm guessing you're trying to do as much as you can with the BaC box, so I can understand if this is just a starting point to evolve from.

If you are taking guilliman the praetor is redundant, and termi armour on the centurion should be dropped so you can sweep enemies, instead grab artificer armour and a cheap invulnerable (boarding or refractor field). Also might be worth upgrading him to a consul, i would suggest vigilator for scouting the land raider.

With the spare points grab rhinos for all your PA dudes so they don't become scorpius fodder. And maybe upgrade the phobos to a flared spartan. Or find some spare points for artillery or Anti air.

If you are taking RG you want to max one unit type to make the most out of his special buff to a single unit type. Tank hunters tends to be the best buff out of the three that he has due to the tank heavy nature of most 30k games.

I've found with hh ultra armies that the rule of 2 works best, this is due to there support nature.

So
Bob guilliman

2 tac squads with rhino (shoot with rhino first to get the rr for the tacs)
2 support squads, I suggest plasma or volkite if you want to keep them cheap, with rhino (same as tacs or shoot the same targets as the tacs)
2 heavy weapon squads with rhino (guess what, they don't use the rhino, they get it to shoot first)
2 preds with standard loadout, these are here to draw fire from the rhinos.

The rest of your army do as you please, but that's a solid foundation for ultras, the rhinos can transport or range off ahead to put the hits on the enemy units, allowing you the rr for you legions Astartes ultras, you need to make the most of your Legion trait and dreads, land raiders etc don't really make the most of it, ultras are an infantry army in my opinion.

Oh, tank hunters on the devs or preds, depending on the preds loadout

What do you usually out fit your Heavy's with? So far I really have been enjoying Autocannons
