Hey guys here is the background fluff of my army:

ORDER DESCRIPTION.

The origin of the Order of the Void Knights is shrouded in mystery even by the standards of the Dark Angels; being known of only by the Council of the Grand Masters - the Leader of the Dark Angels and each of it's successor chapters.

What is known by these individuals is that the Void Knights were established in secret by the Council of Grand Masters during the 31st millennium following the Horus Heresy, approximately during the second founding.

The Order was created to carry out a single task; to find and destroy the Fallen Angels - those who betrayed their brothers, Primarch and Emperor during the heresy.

The Void Knights are a splinter company of veteran warriors that exists as a semi-autonomous and unique force whose numbers are originally derived from the Dark Angels Legion and it's successor chapters.

Each member of the Void Knights has proven themselves worthy of advancement into their respective chapter's 1st company. These hardened warriors are instead initiated into the service of the Void Knights by the Chapter Masters of their respective chapter himself.

As a result of their high pedigree, the Void Knights more than make up for their lack of numbers in their sheer skill and battlefield experience.

The Void Knights are tasked exclusively with hunting down the Fallen Angels and as such will never commit themselves to any engagement with an enemy of the Imperium unless it is certain a Fallen Angel is present. They are the hunters and executioners of the lost sons of the Lion.

Far smaller and more mobile than a fully fledged chapter, the Void Knights boast no more than 100 Astartes warriors at any one time. They are not a fully fledged chapter and therefore their founding is unknown to the High Lords of Terra and the Imperium at large.

The Void Knights are specialists at rapid assault, infiltration and assassination and are adept at hunting and destroying the Fallen Angels wherever they may hide in a never-ending attempt to redeem their Primarch and Legion's honour.

---

ORDER COLOUR SCHEME.

The Order of the Void Knights wear full suits of bone coloured armour similar to the fabled Deathwing, the reasons for this are twofold:

The first is that the Astartes of the Void Knights are all veterans worthy of elevation to their respective chapter's 1st company.

The second is that the Void Knights exist exclusively to hunt the Fallen, as is symbolised by the bone white of the Deathwing.

---

ORDER STRUCTURE.

The Order consists of 10 squads of 10 Astartes. The squads take their name from their respective Templars.

Prelate Ezra.

Interrogator Chaplain Zephaniah.

Librarian Isaiah.

Tech-marine Ezekiel.

Venerable Dreadnought Hosea the Revered.

30 Tactical Marines Squads Amos, Obadiah and Ishmael.

20 Assault Marines Squads Micah, Nahum Squads.

10 Devastator Marine Squad Habakkuk.

10 Ravenwing Bike Squad Malachi.

10 Deathwing Terminator Squad Zechariah Squad.

10 Deathwing Knight Squad Jonah.

5 Deathwing Command Terminator Squad Haggai Squad.

5 Land Raider (Redentors 1-5).

5 Rhinos (Harbingers 1-5).

The Strike Cruiser 'Light of Redemption' with Drop Pods and Thunderhawk Gunships.

---

ORDER RANKING.

PRELATE
A rank comparable to both Chapter Master and Captain. The Prelate is the overall leader of the Order, but commands a company-sized force in the same manner as a regular Company Master or Captain.

ARCH TEMPLAR
Hand picked by the Prelate to lead his Honour Guard and succeed him should he die. He is the Champion of the Order and often will be the Order's finest duelist and wields a gigantic halberd in the shape of a wing. Comparable to a Deathwing Champion.

TEMPLAR
A squad leader, comparable to a Sergeant.

KNIGHT
The standard Void Knight Astartes, each is a veteran soldier.

---

PRELATE THADDEUS EZRA.

The current Prelate of the Void Knights is Thaddeus Ezra, a superfluous warrior and brilliant tactician, who has led the Void Knights for over three centuries.

Ezra has seen dozens of Fallen Angels face judgment for their betrayal over his time of leadership, and is considered to be one of the greatest leaders of the Void Knights' largely uncelebrated existence.

As a mark of his position, Ezra wields the Blade of Woe, an ancient Relic Blade from lost Caliban that has been carried by the Prelate of the Void Knights since their inception.

HOSEA THE REVERED.

Hosea the Revered is over one thousand years old and was formerly a powerful Librarian of the Angels of Redemption Chapter before initiation into the Void Knights.

Hosea was badly wounded by the traitorous Fallen Angel Malchor the Great and encased in a mighty dreadnought shell. He now primarily resides aboard the 'Light of Redemption', where he is in a perpetual state of stasis and only called upon in times of dire need.

Hosea's dreadnought exoskeleton magnifies his already prolific psychic powers, allowing the Void Knights' Cruiser to travel into chaos tainted space without risk of corruption.

LIGHT OF REDEMPTION.

The ancient vessel known as the Light of Redemption has over it's long history received so many additional upgrades and reinforcements that it is as comparable to a common Strike Cruiser as an Astartes is to a regular man.

The vessel is equipped to house the entirety of the Order for an indefinite amount of time and carries armaments sufficient to scour the surface of planets and engage in years of combat in the event of its prolonged inability to resupply of the tithed munitions and Astartes warriors from the Dark Angels and successor Chapters.

COUNCIL OF TEMPLARS.

The Council of Templars is the title of the Order's leadership and is made up of the Templars of each squad as well as the Order's Venerable Dreadnaught, Librarian, Interrogator Chaplain, Tech-Priest and Prelate.

In essence the Supreme Grand Master of the Dark Angels and the Chapter Masters of the Dark Angel successor chapters also hold a position on the council, and it is not uncommon for them to be present, whether physically or hologramatically, in council meetings.

It is the role of this council to find and pursue any possible leads on the Fallen, ensure resupply from the Order's tithing chapters, strategise campaigns and elect new Templars.

What's left of Cadia

Seems like an interesting concept, kind of like the Deathwatch in a way (just not at all connected to the Inquisition). Seems kind of odd that they outright refuse to fight against anything not connected to the fallen though. Well done in any case.

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum
