I, after a very profitable christmas, now have £240 that i was thinking of spending on warhammer 40k and this is to mainly expand on the blood angels battleforce i have (the boxset)

2x cadian shock troopers (i got yarrick)
1x rhino (to put the tactical squad in)
1/2x death company (one squad with jump packs and one without)
1x razorback (to put the non jump pack death company in)
1x blood angels terminator assault squad (generally good)
paints and the BA codex

so what do you think? Is there a better way of expanding on the blood angels batle force? (for around £170 as i need money for codex and paints)
?
also i should be going to games workshop this afternoon so good ideas are welcome
ALSO is it better to get another BA tactical squad or BA terminator assault squad?

Sounds good to me. Death Company are awesome figures and can't go wrong with more of them. I would vote for more Tac marines over terminators. Terminators just don't last like they used to.

I'd honestly go for something along the lines of;
1x Sanguinary Priest or Jump pack Chaplain (take a pick between FnP or giving your main close combat squad Zealot)
1x BA Tactical squad
1x Death Co.
1x Space Marine Assault squad
1x Furioso Dreadnought (build it w/Frag cannon)
2x Drop Pods

Blood Angels are best at the moment when played in more of an MSU style army that spams those special weapons...

5-man Tactical Squads toting a Heavy flamer + Sergeant with paired Hand flamers in a Drop Pod w/Deathwind launcher will make an absolute mess of most basic infantry. Likewise, 5-man Assault Squads with 2x Meltaguns, either w/Jump packs or also in a Drop Pod w/Deathwind launcher are good for nuking vehicles.
The Furioso w/Frag cannon + Heavy flamer in a Drop Pod is again, yet another template monster! However, thanks to the better Str. + Rending, this guy can tackle lower armour save units. A pair of these things in Pods can cause a good deal of havoc.

The only platform you should consider using Grav guns on are Bikes, due to the fact they have the Relentless rule and thus, can fire to full effect every turn.

Things like Termies really shouldn't be considered without the investment in a Land Raider in order to deliver them into combat. With that, they're just a slow infantry unit who will spend he game chasing stuff around and likely achieving nothing at all.
