Hi everyone, this is my first post so please be nice
My fiancé and I are starting a new army for the new year, He has decided to use the forgeworld Minotaur tactics and at the moment he likes the look of the forge world Siege Assult Vanguard army list , can anyone give us any advice for using them as an army ? Any suggestions on what units would be the best to take ? Thank you
For my army I have chosen Imperial Knights, and since I'm a huge sister of battle fan I have decided to use this as a theme, I hope to take the pilots from the penitent engine and use LOADS of greenstuff to create my Knights Penitent does anyone have any advice on what the best weapon options would be for my Knights ? And what would work best with my fiance's Minotaurs.
Thank you all in advance
Chelestine

Since he has Obsec, he should be thinking of objectives. Lots of troops to screen your flanks, so you aren't taking side armor shots within melta range.

Maybe some fun synergy stuff like Grav to help with high initiative melee threats, and Techmarines to repair your Knights.

The Acheron is the most fluffy for the SOB conversion. Otherwise anything with an Avenger bolter and a melee D-weapon would fit the theme well.

I'd try to just ally in the Siege list. Their win condition is pretty hard with the army list.

Playing Minotaurs, otherwise, isn't too bad; they just need a few updates for 7th (like their Dread character needing 4 attacks). Asterion tanks wounds excellently and greatly benefits any Assault Centurion squad. Seeing as he lets anything charge with no Initiative penalty, you can lose the Frag Assault Launchers for Hurricane Bolters. I highly recommend Bikers with the Chapter Tactics, as they get cool benefits with the small squad sizes and getting charges easier.
