looks like a new big cube in June, the one we saw in the Facebook pics last year. The port for the sphere looks cool close up. Hopefully it comes with some upgrades for the other cube, maybe recosted to fit into OP play

I can understand that. One of the stores I used to go to had a 50% all STAW purchases if we payed to play in an OP. I don't think the owner expected me to but the cube, because he never did that again. Getting it for $50 is about the only way I would have bought it. I like the idea of supporting the local store, but the mark up on the big pieces is too high. I bought my retail DS9 on Miniatur Market for $67 and picked up a few extras so it was free shipping. I'll probably go back to them for the new cube. If it really does come with a sphere it will be worth the price.

A lot depends on the cards for that new Cube. However, model wise... It's probably the exact same as the current Cube, except one side panel has a hole in it.

That's what I did for my DS9 and Cube... Stung a little, but it was ok in the end.

Neat looking model! The first big cube is being advertised in places for $65...I might pick it up at that price and wait for this one to come down some .

I recommend skipping the last Cube unless you REALLY want Locutus.

If you can find it cheap i say go for it. You know it will be more fun to play home games with two of them

I've only ever used the first cube twice. The scenario that comes with it is fun to play, but overwise it's too overpriced in terms of points when it's not really any better than the smaller tactical suit.

I'll wait until we see what the cards are like, but I'm not sure I'll be able to justify the cost for a model that will just sit on the shelf.
